The Great Space Walk


Friday 23rd May

From 19–23 May 2025, schools across the UK will be blasting off on a five day walking challenge, meeting colourful intergalactic friends and exploring the many benefits of walking or wheeling to school.

London Marathon Theme Day


Friday 25th April

The London Marathon is the most incredible and iconic running event of the year. 
More than 56,000 runners are expected to complete the 26.2-mile race on Sunday, April 27th, set to make history as the largest marathon in the world.

Celebrating Mother’s Day

We’re excited to be welcoming some Mother figures into schools today. Be it a parent, carer or a friend, male of female.

Red Nose Day + Spring Equinox


Friday 21st March

We’re red nose ready and joining people up and down the UK to show that laughter has the power to change lives.
The Spring Equinox also falls today. It’s time to celebrate the return of warmer days and lighter nights.

World Book Day


Thursday 6th March

The annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books, and the joy of reading.

Pancake Day


Tuesday 4th March

The one day of the year it’s perfectly acceptable to eat pancakes for breakfast,
lunch or dinner. Or all three!

Valentine’s Day


Friday 14th February

A day to recognise close friends 
and loved ones. Be it exchanging handmade cards, 
baking sweet treats, or simply spending quality time together.

Chinese New Year


Wednesday 29th January

Chinese New Year celebrates the first day of the first month on the Chinese calendar. It is also called the Spring Festival and is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays.

Each year is represented by a different animal, called a Chinese zodiac sign, this being the Year of the Snake.
 
Legend has it that people born during under that sign have similar traits to the animal.

Big Garden Birdwatch


Friday 24th January

The Big Garden Birdwatch takes place between 24th – 26th January. Everyone can take part in the world’s largest garden wildlife survey, at home, or at school. The results, along with those taken from surveys in schools throughout this term, helps scientists form a snapshot of how birds are faring across the UK.

Our ever popular Birdwatch Brunch returns, with a fitting shortbread biscuit for dessert.
